Mammoth Lakes and the Eastern Sierras preferred recycling business

At Sierra Conservation Project we are a small company with huge aspirations to educate our surrounding communities the importance of recycling. As a recyclables management company we offer personal care with the highest level of professionalism to remove items that can be recycled from your home, business, condo complex or special event.  With such a basic approach to reducing waste and educating our community members we can help preserve our natural resources for generations to come. We stand by our core values to protect our environment, provide excellent customer service, and educate our customers of local, state, and federal regulations. Locally owned and operated we take pride in being an active participant in an industry that helps protect our natural surroundings. We invite you to help grow the Sierra Conservation Project family and reduce landfill deposits to cut down on methane gas, which is the leading pollutant released into our mountain air.

Meet the Recycle Sierra Team

Brian Robinette at Sierra Conservation Project

Brian Robinette

Brian moved to the Eastern Sierra in 2001 with the dream of creating a local business that would allow him to enjoy his passion of skiing and climbing in the Sierra Nevada mountains. In 2002 Brian started the Sierra Conservation Project recycling service out of the back of his pickup truck. The popularity of the recycling program grew quickly and Brian expanded SCP programs to the communities of Inyo County. Over the years as the project grew SCP grew as well, we now provide service to almost every business, condo complex, business office and resident in Mono County. Brian gives credit to his amazing staff members and the successful partnerships SCP has created with the Town of Mammoth Lakes, Mammoth Disposal, Mono County and the CalRecycle. "I am very excited to see the success and growth our programs have experienced over the past 14 years, I could not have achieved this success without the support of my wife, friends and family. The SCP staff members are the life blood of this operation and the success our recycling programs have seen benefit the environment and everyone who lives and enjoys the Eastern Sierra".
